What to recycle

The following list describes some of the items that can be recycled:

• Aluminum and steel Cans (Coke, Pepsi, veggie cans, coffee cans, etc.)
• Magazines, Newspapers, junk mails, greeting cards and catalogs
• Cardboard (shipping, packaging boxes, etc)
• Paper, boxboard and Paperboard (office and computer paper, cereal boxes, notebook paper, non-Styrofoam egg cartons, some pre-packaged food boxes)
• Plastics (Soda bottles, water bottles, milk jugs, detergent bottles shampoo and vitamin bottles, etc)
• Glass (jelly jars, wine bottles, beer bottles, and pickle jars, etc.)
• Household Batteries
• Rechargeable batteries can also be recycled but most of single use household batteries are not recycled.
• Mobile phones
• Clothes and shoes
• Computer Equipments
• Garden Wastes
• Aluminum Foil
• Automotive Oil : Used motor oil can be recycled

Wow, even that simple list seems somewhat overwhelming. Don't worry! Start from small and build as you are more comfortable. Remember that every little bit counts.
